The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. Provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.

1. Current California RN License
2. Current Basic Life Support Level C (Healthcare Provider) certification.
3. Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
4. Two years of PACU or critical care experience and/or approved PACU RN training course.
