Responsibilities
| Able to work in all basic functions as a CLS in the main lab, blood bank and microbiology. Performs quality control procedures for routine and stat testing of patient samples. Maintains records; performs and records instrument maintenance; troubleshooting instrument and sample problems; regularly utilizes the lab computer for various aspects of daily work; verifies completion of work using the computer. Able to work independently in a generalist capacity while adhering to standard lab practices. |
Qualifications
| Acute hospital experience required. Minimum two years experience in a hospital setting as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist required. |
