Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles, is a 101 bed acute care community hospital providing our community with advanced medical and culturally sensitive healthcare services for over 50 years. Monterey Park Hospital is recruiting for a Full Time, day shift, Bio-Med Technician for our Bio Med Engineering Department. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.

The Bio-Med Tech performs periodic safety testing, completes required safety documentation, completes documentation for service, conducts repair service of equipment, conducts periodic inspection as required by schedule, develops and maintains good report with all hospital personnel, orders parts for repairs other than stock, conducts scheduled monthly inspections of safety monitoring and support systems, and maintains active ongoing communication with vendors and manufacturers regarding warranty or service performed by any outside service group or organization which pertains to bio‑ medical equipment.

Associates Degree in Mechanical Field required.  3 years as a Bio-Med Technician required.  Certificate of training in Bio-medical instrumentation required.
