JOB SUMMARY:  An employee of this position decontaminates, cleans, packages, sterilizes, stores and distributes medical and surgical instrumentation, minor equipment, supplies and linen in accordance with AAMMI< AORN, JCAHO Standards and TITLE 22 requirements. Operate Steam and Sterrad Sterilizers; DSD Scope processor, Washer and Countertop Sonic. Minor Equipment and Utility.  

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent
2. Central Service Technician Certificate or must be certified within 9 months of hire, CRCST or Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD). or Surgical Technology School graduate.
3. Current BCLS (AHA)
