JOB SUMMARY:   The transporter is ultimately accountable to the Charge Nurse and Director of Surgical Services. The transporter is responsible for bringing patients to and from the surgical suite and Outpatient Surgery. They assist with patient care in the OR rooms under direct supervision of an RN.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Transporter must have a minimum of six months acute hospital experience preferred.
2. Current BCLS card (AHA).
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
