The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the obstetrical patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds the Department of Health Service (DHS). The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements. Qualifications:Graduate or approved nursing program preferred. One year acute care experience preferred. Current CA RN license, ACLS, NRP, BCLS and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certificate.
Performs general maintenance and repair services of the hospital's physical plant; equipment, buildings and properties. Duties may include one or more of the following areas: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, paint or HVAC. Working knowledge in various mechanical hand held tools required in the performance of the trade. Qualifications: Minimum one year experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
The Registered Nurse manages the day to day operations of the GI Lab, PACU and Outpatient Surgery. Focuses on effectiveness and efficiency. Establishes good rapport with front line staff and physicians. Ensures patient experience scores above set benchmarks by providing compassionate care throughout the departments. Develops strong inter-departmental teamwork and empowerment to meet the needs of the patients , staff and physicians. Works with Director to manage appropriate staffing ratios and premium labor. Supports and promotes a positive role model and image with vendors, patients, staff, and physicians. Follows all required regulatory requirements established by The Joint Commission, Department of Health Services etc. Qualifications: Current California RN license. Current ACLS, PALS and BCLS certificates required.
This individual types the pathology reports from the physician dictation into the hospital computer system. The employee acts as the department secretary and will learn to do QC functions, process send out tests, answer phones and send out reports. Other responsibilities will be to cover pathology grossing and assist at FNA procedures and frozen sections. Some tasks include working with the Histologist for specimen handling. Qualifications: Two years acute hospital experience in pathology preferred. High school or college graduate with pathology transcription training preferred.
The Clinical Manager will assist the Director in identifying equipment and supply needs for the unit. Coordinates Staff schedule. Serves as a resource to other nursing staff for problem-solving. Review/revised policies and procedures. Observes and evaluates unit staff ability to perform assigned duties and provides feedback to director as needed. Rounds on all patients daily. Assesses the care being delivered to patients on assigned unit in accordance with policies procedures and standards of care. Contributes to the development of more complex patient care plans. Supervises, supports and coaches other in utilizing the nursing process with all patients on the unit. Qualifications: One year acute care RN experience preferred. PEDS Charge/Supervisory experience preferred. Current R.N. license, BCLS and PALS certificates required. BSN preferred.
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist this position will perform preparation packaging distribution, billing and inventory management of medication. Qualifications: Two years experience in an acute care hospital setting. Current California Pharmacy Technician certification. Current BLS certification.
Collect blood samples from all age groups including neonates. Able to perform front and back office procedures, computer entry, sample processing of send out tests, perform basic lab test processing, set-upMicrobiology cultures. Be able to organize workload to work effectively in a fast paced setting and prioritize duties for routine and stat testing. Must be able to stand, bend and walk for most of the 8 hour shift. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. This is a temporary position. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. CA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT of CPA required.) The ED Registered Nurse will support the ED initiative and provide quality patient care. Qualifications: Current California RN license. Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS and AB508. One year acute care experience preferred. Proficiency in both written and oral English.
The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the clinical staff in the care of and treatment for patients in an acute care setting under the supervision of a licensed nurse. Qualifications: Current California Certified Nursing Assistant certificate and current American Heart Association BLS certification required. One year acute care experience preferred.Effective communication skills in English. Bilingual in English/Spanish and/or English/Mandarin preferred.
Responsible for coordinating the day to day operational activities of the Material Management Department which includes: Purchasing, Central Distribution, Storage, Shipping, Receiving, Print/Duplicating and Mailroom. Directs staff to reach optimal operational efficiencies for all departments to facilitate patient care in facility. Works with various department directors in enhancing, solving and making more efficient their supply needs. Actively seeks to obtain most favorable contract pricing with supplier consistent with quality, quantity, service and delivery time and routinely verifies contract compliance. Qualifications: College degree in business administration or equivalent preferred. Will consider previous experience and knowledge in lieu of degree.
Assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations. Service to a one or more age populations including an ill neonate through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. Admission coordination, make nursing assignments, coordinate shift activities and quality control functions.

Bedside care to a patient that requires technical knowledge as defined in the RN scope of practice. Shift: Variable Under general supervision and guidelines, obtains and verifies financial sponsorship, patient demographics, and clinical information. Utilizes skills and knowledge of department / hospital policies and procedures to register patients, verify insurance benefits, and collect payments. Works in a team environment and must be able to work independently in all areas of registration, including E.R. registration, insurance verification, pre-admission, Out-patient registration, and cashier with minimal supervision.Verifies financial sponsorship, patient demographics, and insurance eligibility during and prior to the registration process.Notates all registration activity in the adt/ms4 registration system.Quality controls all patient data, checking for accuracy, on all registrations.Notifies physician’s office, patient of any deductibles, and/or co-pays prior to and after registration.Collects and notates (in ADT system) deductibles, co-pays, and cash packages during and prior to registrations.Verifies and enters appropriate insurances plan codes, and financial codes.Pre-admit and verifies all pertinent patient data, prior to patient arrival when possible.Work’s where needed, including ER registration, pre-admissions, and registration.Qualifications:Associates Degree (preferred).Current MAB certification.Previous registration, insurance, medical office experience (preferred).Knowledge of medical terminology.Knowledge of computer input and skills.Good communication and guest relation skills.
Shift: VariablePrepares, calibrates, logs, and administers radioactive isotopes to patients undergoing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures. Operates Gamma Camera imaging equipment, computers, and other isotope sensitive equipment to obtain a visual representation or measurement or isotope concentrations in specific body areas/organs. This position requires providing care/service to a critically ill through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional / developmental age of the individual served.Qualifications:Must have at least a High School Diploma.
