Performs general maintenance and repair services of the hospital’s physical plant; equipment, buildings and properties. Duties may include one or more of the following areas: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, paint or HVAC. May operate and maintain stationary gas and oil fired boilers and auxiliaries in supplying hot water and steam for other power generating purposes.

The Safety/Disaster Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the environment of care program addresses all life safety,
and environmental needs under the supervision and guidance of the Director, Plant Operations. The position is also
responsible for assisting to ensure compliance with Emergency Preparedness regulations at AHMC-ARMC. The
position ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements pertaining to environmental safety, including emergency
preparedness, hazardous materials and/or waste, workplace health and safety, and acts as a liaison between the
organization and the city, county, state and federal agencies for safety activities as indicated.
To assist with the managing and coordination of the Emergency Preparedness and Safety program, policies, and
procedures and to help ensure a safe, secure and compliant environment. Major elements of the program include, but
are not limited to: ensuring compliance and continuous improvement related to all elements of Emergency
Preparedness and Environment of Care, including but not limited to, IIPP, disaster supplies, EOC rounds, survey
readiness, and managing of hazardous waste.

Clerk II analyzes the assembled record for chart completion deficiencies, in accordance with regulatory requirements and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Clerk II assigns deficiencies to the appropriate medical staff member, and data is entered for tracking and monitoring purposes. Medical Staff members are notified, and held accountable for these chart completion items. The Clerk II will assist the medical staff member in their chart completion effort, but will carry out the suspension process if the medical staff member does not complete their records in a timely manner. Once the medical staff member addresses their documentation deficiencies or upon addition of a document to the analyzed record, the Clerk II will review this documentation and update or clear the deficiencies as appropriate. The Clerk II is also responsible for answering telephone calls and assisting visitors (including but not limited to physicians, patients, and their family members), while maintaining confidentiality. The Clerk II will further support the department needs through assistance in any of the Clerk I, Release of Information, or other duties as assigned. .

The Case Management Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support for the Case Management/Utilization Management team; with an emphasis on Case Management, Discharge Planning, Utilization Management, Resource Management and Social Services. The functions of Case Management Assistant is to use effective interpersonal skills in managing the complex interactions involved with the position related to department work flow including but not limited to; answering phone calls, faxing reviews, follow up on outstanding reviews and responses to denials received.
