The RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients having a procedure performed in the GI Laboratory. The RN has advanced training in this area and provides care utilizing the nursing process, therapeutic environment, treatment and diagnostic processes, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The RN shall, for their patients, collaborate in the formulation of the overall plan of care for the patient, as evidenced by written documentation. Identifies needs and problems specific to biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio-cultural, and spiritual assessments.
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. Current Basic Life Support Level C (Healthcare Provider) certification. Current ACLS and PALS certifications. 2 years acute care experience required.
