Overview

The PBX Operator is responsible for answering and directing calls to and from and within the Medical Center.  The PBX Operator is also responsible for monitoring of alarms and activating of the appropriate response to emergencies.

 

  • This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center (“ARMC”). It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the core values of ARMC. The employee shall support AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center’s strategic plan and goals and direction of the performance improvement plan. The employee will also be expected to support all organizational expectations including, but not limited to; Customer Service, Patient’s Rights, Confidentiality of Information, Environment of Care and AHMC Inc initiatives.

Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience            

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work under pressure

Previous switchboard experience desired or heavy phone experience

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Bilingual desirable
