The Stationary Engineer is responsible for providing a full range of maintenance and repair and administrative support to Seton Medical Center. Provides excellent customer service.
POSITION SPECIFIC DUTIES (other duties may be assigned) | ||
1 | Maintain and perform repairs to buildings, grounds and equipment. | |
2 | Maintain continuous operation of equipment by trouble shooting and repairing. | |
3 | Conduct utilities and equipment tests. | |
4 | Record pertinent data on all equipment in accordance with federal, state, and local codes. | |
5 | Process administrative paperwork in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. | |
6 | Required to stay abreast of the latest technology as related to hospital building systems and equipment and emergency response regarding hazardous materials. | |
7 | Requires successful completion of medical evaluation fit test under respiratory protection program criteria. | |
8 | Functions as a team member. | |
9 | Demonstrates commitment to the quality of service. | |
10 | Complies with department, medical center and regional policies and procedures. | |
11 | Maintain regular attendance in the work place. | |
