JOB DESCRIPITION
Under general supervision, but not direct supervision, provides the necessary top quality images of requested exam for diagnostic purposes and do related work as required; will rotate on stand-by and weekend schedule as required for Dept. coverage.
Taking a patient centered approach, provide MRI services within professional standards and with excellent customer service; guide patients through whole process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
Each patient comes to our centers looking for answers – MRI Technologist will guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
Position requires stamina transporting patients to/from the hospital bed to the Radiology Department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Certificate from an accredited curriculum for MRI or 1 yr. experience or completed MRI training at GMC facility, required.
Current BLS (AHA), required.
Venipuncture Certification, required or within 6 months of hire
