Overview

This dual role position will be responsible in monitoring the patient’s cardiac rhythms, in addition to clerical functions such as accurate maintenance of patient documentation including order entry and coordination of patient admission, transfer and discharge process.  In addition, under minimum supervision, the US-MT will be responsible to assist in the organization, cleaning, ordering and par levels of clinical equipment and clinical/office supplies within the designated area.

 

This position effectively communicates accurate information between care givers, physicians, patients, visitors and organizational leadership.

  • This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of AHMC- Anaheim Regional Medical Center. Qualifications

Education/Training/Experience

  • Completion of comprehensive arrthymia course within 90 days of hire
  • Successfully passes AHMC arrhymia exam within 90 days of hire
  • Completion of medical terminology course within 90 days of hire
  • Achieved passing score on AHMC ARMC Basic Arrhythmia Exam post completion of class and thereafter, annually.

Licensure/Certifications

  • Current BLS-HCP certification
