JOB DESCRIPITION

Under general supervision, but not direct supervision, provides the necessary top quality images of requested exam for diagnostic purposes and do related work as required, will rotate on stand-by and weekend schedule as required for Dept. coverage

Taking a patient centered approach, provide scanning services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.

Guide patients through the whole process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.

Position requires stamina transporting patients to/from the hospital bed to the Radiology Department.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current certificate of CRT and ARRT, required.
• Minimum 6 months experience working as CT Technologist or completed CT internship / crossed training at GMC facility.
• Current BLS (AHA), required.
• Venipuncture Certification, required or within 6 months of hired.
