The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (“RCP II”) is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care
and teaching to patients and families. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team,
participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan
of care to guide patient care delivery.
The R.C.P II must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: adult general areas (Telemetry and Med-Surge), critical care areas (ICU and CVU), and Emergency Room.
Graduate of an AMA accredited School for Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
Minimum of one year acute care experience in Respiratory Services or respiratory related care preferred
Current CA RCP license
Current Healthcare Provider BLS
Current ACLS
Current PALS, within ninety (90) days of hire
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred
