JOB SUMMARY:   Responsible for the purchasing of stock and non-stock items, with inventory control as a priority for the facility .Performs a variety of duties to purchase material, equipment, merchandise and supplies according to Hospital guidelines for cost, quality, and delivery. Processes requisitions in a timely basis and performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Two years of college level courses with emphasis in
   purchasing, accounting, marketing, business administration or two years of experience as a senior buyer or purchasing agent. Aptitude for management, planning and problem solving. Ability to demonstrate good business practices and sound judgment. Good communication skills. Able to analyze situations and react or plan accordingly.
