JOB SUMMARY:   Responsible for the purchase of stock and non-stock items with inventory control as a priority for the facility. Performs a variety of duties to purchase material, equipment, merchandise and supplies according to hospital guidelines for cost, quality and delivery.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma, BS in Business Administration, Accounting preferred. 1 year experience as a buyer preferably in a hospital setting. Excellent communication Skills and the ability to analyze situations and react or plan accordingly.
2. Current BCLS Card within 30 days of hire
