JOB SUMMARY 

The Pediatric Registered Nurse provides quality patient care to patient group ranging in age from 2 to 15 years old. Functions with a focus on patient safety and customer service. Conducts patient assessment, participates plan of care, implements and evaluates care according to patient specific age and/or development needs. Works in a mix-unit, flexible to be cross trained and take medical surgical patient assignment as well.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required Experience: • 1 years of pediatric experience required 

   Graduate of approved nursing program certificate.

• Current California RN license  
• Current PALS, BCLS, ACLS, NIHS Stroke Cert. (AHA)
• Medical/Surgical experience preferred • Proficiency in both written and oral English Required Education:
