Overview

Under the supervision of the Manager of Admitting, the Information Desk Coordinator works closely with the Admitting Supervisor. The Information Desk Coordinator has the responsibility of the Hospital Lobby to ensure all patients and visitors receive appropriate information, direction and determine if the patient is already pre-registered and assures that the patient is sent to the correct department with all necessary paperwork.  The Information Desk Coordinator is to exhibit excellent customer service skills.  The Information Desk Coordinator is to display courtesy with all patients, staff, visitors and work in a cooperative manner to fulfill the goals of the department and hospital.

Qualifications

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Previous registration, receptionist.
  3. Medical terminology.
  4. Good computer and typing skills.

 

PREFERRED

Bilingual in English/Spanish
