The Corporate Senior Financial Analyst plays a vital role in AHMC Healthcare, Inc. operations. The Corporate Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for collecting, managing, analyzing, coordinating, overseeing, aggregating and monitoring the organization’s financial data including but not limited to reconciling all accounting, general ledger, financial statement entries and reconciliations between all AHMC Healthcare, Inc affiliated facilities and AHMC Healthcare Corporate entities. This position will provide technical accounting, analysis and support to the Finance Department and to other departments across the system. This position will be responsible for establishing procedures, formulation and/or enhancement of internal control systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of these areas of the Hospitals’ financial statements. Key position responsibilities include financial accounting and analysis, budget development and reporting, cost accounting and labor productivity reporting and development. Actively and consistently contributes to department operations and communications, behaves in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Upload statistics and trial balances to TM1 reporting system for all AHMC Healthcare, Inc affiliated hospitals and maintain the reporting system, run reports upon request.
2. Prepares monthly operation report package for each of AHMC Healthcare, Inc. affiliated hospitals.
3. Prepare affiliated hospitals quarterly financials requested by health plans.
4. Prepare monthly self-insurance and workers compensation entries for AHMC’s affiliated hospitals at month-end
5. Summarize monthly AP aging for all AHMC’s affiliated hospitals as part of the loan financial covenants.
6. Prepare DSCR and liquidity test monthly for each of AHMC’s bank loans.
7. Twice a year, coordinate with all AHMC’s affiliated hospitals for all documents the bank auditors request (accounting and patient accounts).
8. Prepare monthly patient account collection goals (prelim and final) for AHMC’s affiliated hospitals.
9. Submit bi-weekly federal payroll tax at IRS website for two of AHMC’s affiliated hospitals.
10. Assist in the annual submission of 1099 to IRS for all of AHMC’s affiliated hospitals and home office.
11. Online banking transfer for AHMC’s affiliated hospitals.
12. Prepare / submit surveys to US census bureau.
13. Record and maintain books of two AHMC’s affiliated hospitals on QuickBooks.
14. Supervise and train the Corporate Final Analyst.
15. Other tasks as required.
TRAINING/EXPERIENCE –
Must have seven years of accounting/finance experience
Must have knowledge of government regulations related to functional area
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance/accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Gmail.
Must possess critical thinking skills
Possess strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Must posses excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external resources
Must be able to work independently
