Overview

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Under general supervision, but not direct supervision, provides the necessary top quality images of requested exams for diagnostic purposes and do related work as required, will rotate on stand-by and weekend schedule as required for Dept. coverage 
  • Taking a patient centered approach, provide scanning services within professional standards and with excellent customer service.  
  • Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
  • Position requires stamina transporting patients to/from the hospital bed to the Radiology Department.  

 

Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

    • Current certificate of CRT (R)  and ARRT (R), required.
    • Minimum 6 months experience working as CT Technologist or completed CT internship / crossed training at GMC facility. 
    • Current BLS (AHA), required.
    • Venipuncture Certification, required or within 1 year of hire.
