The Radiology Technologist operates x-ray equipment as designated for the Radiology Department. Selects proper exposure factors and demonstrates through knowledge of radiographic positioning. Practices radiological technology in a manner that ensures radiation safety for self and the patient.
- Under the direction of the Department Director, is responsible for the accurate identification, preparation and distribution of drugs and other clinical pharmaceutical items. Also responsible for the direct supervision of ancillary personnel (technicians, interns, couriers) working in their immediate area.
- This position requires providing managerial/administrative supervision to departments which provide care/service to a critically ill through rehabilitating neonatal through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing certificate. Licensure in the state of California as a Registered Nurse (RN). Proficient in oral and written communication skills. Ability to practice leadership, interpersonal skills, communication skills, teamwork, quality improvement and professionalism.
Current California RN license
BCLS, ACLS (AHA), Basic Dysrhythmia certificate upon hire.
Proficiency in both written and oral English
Assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
This position requires providing service to ill neonate patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. Admission coordination, make nursing assignments, coordinate shift activities and quality control functions

Prepare all reports for charting, mailing and signature. Deliver reports on request to surgery or nursing units
a) Transcribed reports are promptly charted and mailed each day. b) Stat requests are delivered within 15 minutes. c) Requests for subpoena of records are handled according to protocols.
Manage the pathology office in a clean, organized, efficient and effective manner.
a) Always get pathology reports completed, faxed, mailed and charted in a timely manner. b) Assist the Pathologists in locating and organizing the report priorities.
Assist pathologist in gross room, on frozen sections and special procedures
a) Maintains supplies, assists at cutting, logging, labeling and tracking of samples. b) Keeps work areas clean and uncluttered. c) Checks in Pathology specimens, corrects any incomplete orders and verifies proper preservatives.
Perform department billing
a) Submits billing to Data Processing accurately and in a timely fashion.
Serves as clerical support for the Pathologists and the Laboratory Department
a) Takes messages and do extra duties as requested by the Pathologists and Laboratory Manager. b) Prepares minutes of Laboratory meetings
Do special projects as requested.
a) Maintains QC records and prepares reports statistical reports. b) Keep department P&P's up to date.
Implement new procedures.
a) New procedures implemented as demand and availability allow.
Regularly utilizes the pathology computer for various aspects of daily work.
a) Familiar with all pertinent computer procedures and contingency procedures.
Communicates with nursing and other hospital personnel, regarding laboratory procedures, results, etc.
a) Communicates in a clear, courteous and professional manner.
Keeps pathology andhistology labs in a clean and organized manner.
a) Notifies housekeeping department when themorgue area needs to be cleaned. b) Keeps all work areas clean, free of clutter and safe.

During non-transport times patient care transporters may be called upon to perform additional duty requirements entailing clerical assistance to patient care floors as assigned. Clerical assistance is defined as charting of reports into appropriate medical records, general upkeep of the physical environment, answering phones, observing patients and assisting with transfer/ambulation of patients in a given patient care unit. Additional duties may be assigned based on competency validation such as, but not limited to, assembly/take-down of skeletal traction.

As the Emergency Services Operations Coordinator you will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. JOB SUMMARY: The Critical care Technician under the direct supervision of a registered nurse participates in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. This position includes, but is not limited to following the essential functions.
