The Radiology Technologist operates x-ray equipment as designated for the Radiology Department. Selects proper exposure factors and demonstrates through knowledge of radiographic positioning. Practices radiological technology in a manner that ensures radiation safety for self and the patient.

Clerical assistance is defined as charting of reports into appropriate medical records, general upkeep of the physical environment, answering phones, observing patients and assisting with transfer/ambulation of patients in a given patient care unit.
