Postpartum nurses are responsible for providing care to women who have recently given birth either Vaginal or via Caesarean Section. The Nurses are involved in helping new mothers learn how to breastfeed their babies, assisting with maternal hygiene post-delivery, caesarian section recovery, assisting with all newborn tasks. Postpartum nurses must be able to multitask. They also need strong skills so that they can communicate clearly with both patients and medical professionals.

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that appropriate authorization and reimbursement resources are in place for elective services provided. This includes the following: 1) verification of completeness and accuracy of order received from physician and verification of insurance information provided, 2) Accurate and timely determination of authorizations required at the time of scheduling; 3) Validate that required authorizations are obtained and monitored for appropriateness of the procedure. 4) Adherence to government and non-government program requirements; 5) Effectively communicating with Scheduling and Patient Access the authorization/ program requirements for their elective procedure, personal payment liabilities if known, and options for care and placement that allow for informed decisions by the patient and his/her family while protecting the financial interest of Seton Medical Center. 6) Provides information to Scheduling and Patient Access when authorizations are delayed, denied for rescheduling procedures when no other options are available.

Responsible for the overall integrity of the HR Information System (HRIS), the update and maintenance of the department's policies & procedures, administration of employee benefits, mitigation of employee-management union issues, oversight and timeliness of employee performance appraisals, maintenance of up-to-date Non-MD caregiver licensures and management of the HR department in the absence of the HR Director from the facility. This position will report to the Human Resources Director.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Exposure to basic accounting practices.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from an accredited university and five (5) years' of Human Resource experience, or a Master's Degree in HR Management and three (3) years' of Human Resource experience, or nine (9) years' experience in the HR field, or any appropriate combination of education and experience preferred.
- Experience working with a unionized workforce.
- Hospital experience highly preferred.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing the organization’s computer systems or database networks to ensure proper maintenance and security. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. The Network Administrator is instrumental in ensuring the stability and integrity of voice, data, video, and wireless network services as the primary contact in planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. This person will also troubleshoot network performance issues, as well as analyze network traffic and provide capacity planning solutions. The Network Administrator analyzes and resolves wireless local area networks (WLAN) hardware, software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training where required. The Network Administrator is also responsible for the organization’s telecommunications infrastructure which includes configuring, diagnosing, repairing, upgrading, and optimizing telephone systems and services, voicemail, and VoIP/IP-PBX communication systems, and video conferencing environments, both internally and those integrated with Internet-based services.
Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, this position assists the RN/LVN in the provision of patient care including patient data collection, oral care, bathing, assistance with ambulating and toileting. This position participates in quality patient care delivery, efficient patient flow and effective communication with the health care team. Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Speech Pathologist will be directly involved in patient evaluation and treatment acting as an integral member of the rehabilitation team. Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
