POSITION SUMMARY The Network Engineer is responsible for developing standards for the Local Area Network (LAN) and collaborates with other enterprise administrators in the support and maintenance of the Wide Area Network (WAN).  The IT Department is seeking a Network Engineer/Administrator who has a balance of working with networking and managing a Windows server environment. The Network Engineer works with team members at the facility and corporate level to coordinate WAN-related activities and issues. The Network Engineer is responsible for the service and support of the LAN and related servers, hubs, routers, modems, switches, and other equipment within the IT infrastructure. In order to promote service availability, the Network Engineer will monitor performance and troubleshoot as necessary to maximize the integrity of individual servers and the overall network.  As a member of the Infrastructure team within the facility’s Information Technology, the Network Engineer position would also ideally be able to assist with supporting the enterprise Windows server environment and basic system administration duties.

Psychiatric Emergency Services Clinician (PESC) is an authorized Licensed Mental Health Professional, having completed all requirements for Los Angeles County LPS designation to evaluate and/or place mentally disordered persons meeting criteria for Involuntary Hospitalization on 5150 Holds to San Gabriel Valley Medical Center for 72-hour emergency intervention.   The PESC customarily and constantly exercises discretion and independent judgment free from immediate supervision when discussing with psychiatrist.  The PESC evaluates complex medical and legal information, and makes decisions after considering different options with substantial significance to ensure compliance with Los Angeles County LPS laws and organizational policies/procedures.   The PESC will coordinate assessment information with the Medical Director, Program Director and/or Nursing Manager/ Charge Nurse and appropriate Community Agencies prior to disposition or transport.   This position requires providing care and/or service to a mentally ill geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.
