The Director of Surgical Services is responsible on a 24-hour basis for the direction of overall operations, directions of unit staff, and support of patient care activities within Perioperative Services. Perioperative Services include the main Operating Room, Pre-Operative Unit, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, Anesthesia services, Surgery Scheduling, Sterile Processing Department and Gastrointestinal Services Department. The position provides direction to all departments for which the Perioperative Services Director has oversight. This position is also responsible for physician relations, staff development, quality development, quality improvement activities, financial data, budget management, and patient safety and satisfaction.
The Clinical Manager is responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift. Directly supervises and communications with all staff along with the Department Director. Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staff. Ensure the efficient functions of the department. Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.

The Health Information Management Tech I is an entry level position responsible to collect, maintain, and make available to authorized users timely, accurate, and complete patient health information. The Health Information Management Tech I supports health information management across computerized systems and the secure exchange of health information between consumers, providers, payers, and quality monitors. The Health Information Management Tech I prioritize, locate, pull, assemble, electronically track, scan and see to the appropriate delivery of health information requested by other departments in accordance with established standards. Health Information Management Tech I must at all times safeguard and protect the patient’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.
The Stroke and Stemi Coordinator nurse will lead the Stroke and Stemi Program at AHMC Seton Medical Center. Our Stroke and Stemi Coordinator will collaborate with the Stroke and Stemi Team; the team consists of a physician champion who engages physicians and leads process change, and a stroke coordinator who guides the entire program. The core team is supported by active participants from leadership and departments throughout the hospital. The Stroke and Stemi Coordinator Nurse will be in close communication with the facility to address Stroke and Stemi Coordinator matters. It is expected for the candidate in this position to be comfortable providing education to staff members and health care workers.

Provides interventions based on the comprehensive assessment and written evaluation which is appropriate for the infant's physiologic and medical condition.
