The Monitor Tech/Unit Secretary, reporting to the Nursing Unit Director, with assignment and direction from the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse, is responsible for assisting in the planning, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing station by performance of clerical/ receptionist &/or Cardiac Monitoring duties.  This position is responsible for maintaining the physical environment of the nursing unit. The MT/US supports the hospital mission and vision with emphasis on customer relations. The MT/US utilizes knowledge of patient’s age, spiritual and cultural diversity into unit communication & organization. The US is a non-licensed position whose training & skills enables him/her to interpret basic cardiac rhythms, recognize & alert the RN to significant rhythm changes or common dysrhythmias. The position contributes to the provision of safety and quality care that result in positive outcomes in patient care. 

Lead LVN is responsible for the coordination of assessment, data collection, and submission of the Minimum Data Set ( MDS) & Payroll Based Journal ( PBJ). The position will be responsible for MDS, PBJ, and conversion & maintenance of paper medical records to electronic medical records. Assist with staffing of unit, staff evaluation, education of staff, other various duties assigned by the unit director. 

This position is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as defined by departmental policies and procedures for neonatal through geriatric patients. Responsibilities include general respiratory patient care, emergency care, critical care, patient assessment, and patient plans of care, patient/family education and patient/family discharge instruction. This position also requires utilization of advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations. The Respiratory Care Practitioner II assists in the development of policies and procedures, patient protocols, education/coaching of nursing, support personnel, patients, and caregivers and participates in multidisciplinary patient care conferences and performance improvement activities.

Able to work in all basic functions of a CLS in the main lab, blood bank and microbiology. Performs quality control procedures for routine and stat testing of patient samples. Maintains records; performs and records instrument maintenance; troubleshooting instrument and sample problems; regularly utilizes the lab computer for various aspects of daily work; verifies completion of work using the computer. Able to work independently in a generalist capacity while adhering to standard lab practices.

Performs technical skills and provides assistance to surgeons, anesthesia personnel, registered nurses, and other professionals in the operating room. Performs similar duties in other areas of the hospital as assigned. Independently scrubs on all surgical procedures. Demonstrates ability to problem solve in relation to the procedure being performed. Applies basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, microbiology, and pharmacology for optimum surgical patient care. Demonstrates knowledge and practice of patient care concepts. Applies the principles of asepsis during surgical procedures.   

Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation.  Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing care for patients the medical surgical services based on established clinical nursing practice standards.  Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.  Serves as the Resource nurse role when oriented and as directed.  Supports the organization vision and mission.  Utilizes knowledge of patient's age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care.  Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Maintains overall responsibility for appropriate discharge planning and utilization reviews for existing patients.    POSITION OVERVIEW This position provides both the discharge and clinical responsibilities of a psychiatric lead social worker. He/she is responsible for completing all the social work documentation including psychosocial assessments, individualized plan of care, on-going coordination and facilitates discharge planning to patients. Meets documentation requirements and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team. The position also facilitates 1-2 discharge planning or process group a week.

POSITION SUMMARY The Speech Pathologist will be directly involved in patient evaluation and treatment acting as an integral member of the rehabilitation team. Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.   He/she will also be involved in preceptorship for the student intern program and program development for speech pathology services throughout the hospital. Provide effective, efficient, and quality care for a geriatric and adult population. POSITION SUMMARY The Corporate Sr. Benefits Specialist provides benefit administration and customer service to Corporate employees and provides support and education to the facility Human Resource Departments for active employee benefit plans (medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short term and long term disability, 401k, flexible spending accounts, COBRA, employee assistance program, etc.) and other ancillary benefit programs. The Corporate Sr. Benefits Specialist will interface with senior management and HR team members by leading projects and providing consultation on industry best practices.   Audits enrollment elections, resolves claims, enrollment, eligibility, and related issues for active employees on health and welfare plans. Administers and interprets plan provisions for employees and keeps abreast of healthcare best practices. Researches and updates government-implemented changes to healthcare plans and serves as a liaison with COBRA and various TPAs. Ensures accurate reporting to all benefits vendors and verifies accurate entries in UKG, and various other programs ensuring compliance with ERISA, HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations.  

Primary Function Provides support and coordination for all medical staff credentialing needs. Maintains productive, professional relationships with all levels of staff. Develops departmental plans, budgets and directs staff as appropriate. Maintains knowledge of current medical staff credentialing standards as related to deemed agencies, State Law and other regulations to assure compliance.

The Educator / Wound Care Nurse Coordinator is accountable to the Chief Nursing Officer.  The Educator / Wound Care Nurse Coordinator’s responsibility is to plan, provide and/or facilitate professional growth and development of hospital staff through the didactic process, role model and/or clinical education process.  The Educator / Wound Care Nurse Coordinator‘s responsibility is to support the delivery of safe patient care through the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation based on established clinical nursing practice standards.  Serves as a resource nurse, role model, and leader in health care administration.  Supports the organizational vision and mission.  Utilizes knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the education process for both staff and patients.  Contributes to the provision of quality of care through support of performance improvement processes that lead to positive outcomes in patient care.   This position provides support to the patient care services division in the prevention of hospital acquired pressure ulcers by assisting with the data collection needed for an advanced wound assessment, and by making wound care recommendations for patients as identified by registered nurses assigned to those patients, or in consultation with other skin and wound care team members.                The role of this individual is to support the standardized program for the care, teaching, management and rehabilitation of patients with or at risk for wound development.  This program will encompass patients with wounds due to pressure, incontinence, surgery, trauma, burns, infections, venous insufficiency, arterial insufficiency, neuropathy, or other pathologies.  This position will promote and support the standardized program for tracking the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers as directed.  This position interfaces with physicians and hospital, education, and skilled nursing staff for support of the guidelines established by the wound care department. This position works closely with Social Services and risk management, to ensure the safety of each patient.                This role requires good organizational, communication and leadership skills, and the ability to collect and report data. Educator / Wound Care Nurse Coordinator is responsible for providing input and feedback to Quality, Education, Nursing Leadership and Management Councils.
