Registered Staff Pharmacist will help to provide high quality and cost-effective pharmaceutical service to support the patient care needs. Accurately reviews all medication orders for completeness and appropriateness of medication, 98% of the time. Distributes medications in a timely manner with proper instructions to hospital personnel and patients. Safely and accurately compounds all IV solutions in a laminar flow hood. Checks IV solution products before dispensing and evaluates all materials used in the preparation of IV’s, 98% of the time.
The staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The Case Manager Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for the preparation, recording and tracking of initial and retrospective payments for hospital services. Answers, directs and records departmental phone calls from a variety of sources (Insurance companies, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health Agencies, Durable Medical Equipment, other health care providers, etc.) understanding priorities for the delivery of quality patient care. Coordinates with Discharge Planners for continuum of patient care, for example, durable medical equipment (DME) and Levels of Care.
The OR Scheduling Secretary demonstrates responsibility and accountability for clerical support in the Operating Room area. Functions in a secretarial position, answering phones for surgery scheduling, accurately schedules patients for the Operating Room and GI Lab. Maintains all OR records including patient charges and OR Log. All records are accurate and current. Secretary maintains accurate order entry transmission of physician’s orders to ancillary departments. Communicates with Clinical Coordinator regarding the OR schedule and messages, communicates with physicians and offices as directed. Works under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Under general supervision, the position is responsible for registering ER Patient Inpatients, Outpatients and Ancillary patients, compiling complete and accurate information for hospital records and timely reimbursement. Maintains effective patient flow and completes the admitting process in a timely manner to assist in prompt treatment of the patient. Maintains effective working relations with coworkers, nurses, physicians and other hospital staff members in order to insure workflow effectiveness. Greets and assists all customers and visitors, whether in person or by telephone, using guest relation techniques while professionally representing the visions and values of AHMC- ARMC.
