The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds the Department of Health Service (DHS), The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements.
Performs CT imaging scans on patients and coordinates patient flow and the activities of the scanner.

Performs all diagnostic CT procedures to include head, spine, abdomen, extremities per departmental protocols. Practices radiation safety at all times for self and the patient. Performs and completes diagnostic procedures accurately. Demonstrates competency and proficiency with CT equipment.
Responsible for
- Compounding IVs, checking IVs, and supervise IV compounding.
- Clinical activities such as antibiotic dosing, anticoagulation monitor, TPN dosing, renal dosing, IV to PO conversion, and reviewing patients’ medication profile.
- Verifying physician’s medication order and communicating with medical staff to achieve optimal medication therapy.
- filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy.
- Maintains standards set by the department and translates policies and procedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy.
- Being an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug‑related information and literature
- Oversees activities of technicians and intern pharmacists in procurement, preparation and distribution of medication.
- Participating in team discussion to improve workflow and staff interaction.

Labor & Delivery Nurses provide care and support for women before, during and after delivery of an infant. They are responsible for making sure that the medical and emotional needs of the patient are met throughout birthing process.
The PACU Nurse performs pre and post operative procedures. He/she is responsible to the Nurse Manager of PACU, and works closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other members of the operative team. The PACU Nurse is independently responsible for the welfare and safety of the patient pre/post the surgical procedure.

Able to work in all basic functions of a CLS in the main lab, blood bank and microbiology. Performs quality control procedures for routine and stat testing of patient samples. Maintains records; performs and records instrument maintenance; troubleshooting instrument and sample problems; regularly utilizes the lab computer for various aspects of daily work; verifies completion of work using the computer. Able to work independently in a generalist capacity while adhering to standard lab practices.
Supervisor for Urinalysis, Serology, Coagulation. Regularly utilizes the lab computer for various aspects of daily work and verifies completion of work by various computer programs. Able to work in a generalist capacity, adhering to standard lab practices. Must be able to work in all sections of our fast-paced laboratory. Work load includes Stat and ER testing, routine AM testing in all sections of the Lab. This includes Blood Bank and limited Microbiology.

Communicates with nursing and other hospital personnel, regarding laboratory procedures, results and overdue tests. Runs and completes all testing that is permitted under the licensure by the State of CA.

The Rad Tech V Lead/Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist ensures the effective diagnosis of disease by administering nuclear diagnostic imaging and non‑imaging procedures. Perform quality control to radiopharmaceuticals and scintillation equipment. The patient population served ranges from neonates to geriatrics.
As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit. Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient.
