The Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist, Evening shift, performs laboratory procedure on specimens from inpatient and outpatients and assist the Coordinator in the daily operations of the Laboratory. Performs intrument responsibilities and all basic LIS functions. Assist in maintaining adequate supplies by communicating shortages and preparing reagents as needed. Acts under the direction of Lab Director, Coordinators and/ or Pathologists in other necesssary activities consistent with training, education, and professional ethics.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), is a member of the health care team who assists in the delivery of total patient care, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).

The Long Term Care Staff Development Educator is responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating educational programs for the development and improvement of necessary skills and knowledge for all Long Term Care (LTC) personnel. The Staff Development Educator ensures orientation, certification, and inservice programs are conducted according to facility policy and procedure and in compliance with state and federal regulations. The Staff Development Educator will conduct inservices as mandated by state and federal regulations and that address the needs of the facility as determined by the facility's Quality Improvement Program, through completion of clinical rounds as identified by the Director of Long Term Care/designee, or as identified during a Licensing and Certification visit.
Regularly performs laboratory procedures in the assigned scientific sections of the Clinical Lab and/or Emergency Department. Performs necessary quality control procedures and maintains records. Troubleshoots instrument problems. Performs and records instrumentation. Performs other clinical and clerical duties as needed. Regularly utilizes the laboratory computer for various aspects of daily work. Verifies completion of work by various computer programs. Communicates with nursing and other hospital personnel, regarding laboratory procedures, results and overdue tests. Runs and completes all testing that is permitted under the licensure by the State of CA. Qualifications: CA licensed Medical Laboratory Technician and AA degree. Medical Laboratory Technician Internship preferred.

Under general over-sight of the Director of Case Management and Social Services, the Lead Medical Social Work Supervisor recruits, orients, trains, supervises and evaluates staff; prepares work schedules and individual assignments for social work staff; provides consultation concerning the most difficult cases; performs individual therapy and group therapy; coordinates a medical social services program; performs administrative duties; participates in hospital committees and community and professional organizations; prepares data and reports as needed; and performs related duties as required.
In collaboration with the Patient Experience staff, will perform purposeful daily rounding on patients and families in the facility to assess patient needs and collaborate with nursing and other staff to ensure that needs are met. The staff member will demonstrate professional courtesy at all times, andwill role-model excellent verbal, and non-verbal communication skills. Monitors the admissions, continued stay, and discharge of patients following pre-established criteria. Assures that patients meet InterQual criteria from admission to discharge including appropriateness of level of care. Conducts interdisciplinary care management rounds. Ensures collaboration between multidisciplinary healthcare team members, primary physician, community agencies, HMOs/PPOs, CCS, etc., whose services may be required and/or related to the care needs of the patient after hospital discharge. Monitors nursing and medical plans of care/discharge plans and provides appropriate interventions to assure care is appropriate, coordinated and that avoidable patient days are addressed effectively through education, consultation, and counseling as needed. Ensure patient centered discharge planning and assessment by communicating the appropriate discharge information and instructions to the primary care giver and primary physician and/or follow-up care agency. Assures patients are transferred to appropriate approved facilities when required.
