As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit. Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient.
Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, this position assists the RN/LVN in the provision of patient care including patient data collection, oral care, bathing, assistance with ambulating and toileting.
