The Medical Staff Coordinator is assigned the primary responsibility of medical staff credentialing activities and all related activities. This includes processing new appointments, and reappointments. Ensure thorough and timely verification of Licensed Independent Practitioner’s (LIPs) and Allied Health Professional Staff (AHP) credentialing and privileges according to the medical staff bylaws, credentials manual and policies and procedures. Plans agendas and prepares for meetings, records and transcribes minutes of all departments and various other committees as assigned. . Assist with the FPPE/OPPE process and CME program.
Assist in achieving the department’s goal to maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards, Title 22 regulations and other regulatory agencies as appropriate.
The Social Worker provides social work services to patients, families, and others in all hospital areas specific to assignment as applicable, and in accordance with hospital customer service expectations. Professional services to be provided to meet the psychosocial needs of the patient may include, but are not limited to, psychosocial assessments, brief treatment/counseling, crisis interventions, case consultation, patient education, resource management, assistance with discharge planning, and support groups.

The Director of Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Room is the designated leader responsible for providing the overall leadership and direction for ICU, CCU, TCU, and the Emergency Room. The Director has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for planning, organizing, developing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the human and material resources necessary for quality patient care and effective nursing operations. The Director participates in assessing the environment, forecasting trends, transmitting values, communicating ideas, developing and implementing standards and initiating programs and systems.
A Registered Nurse who answers to the Unit Director with administrative tasks and acts as a clinical resource for assigned unit. Shall directly supervise personnel and assure the quality of clinical nursing care of patients in the Med/Surg unit at all times. The hours of work are flexible based upon the need of the hospital.

The Radiologic/Mammography Technologist (II, III) is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, mammographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration. Collaborate with department and multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and department service.
The position will work in collaboration with the medical director of cardiothoracic surgery and hospital staff to provide comprehensive care including medical procedures that may be required for a specialty area, utilizing approved standardized procedures as outlined in the NPA, Section 2834 including Furnishing Drugs and Devices, and CCR Section 1480. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Provides leadership, clinical guidance and professional expertise to staff.
Analyze pathophysiology for various cardiovascular disease processes
Develop cardiovascular diagnoses, formulate a treatment plan and evaluate patient response to treatment
Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions
Utilize evidence-based medicine practices using quality, cost-effective care
Educate patients and families regarding the cardiovascular disease process, including primary and secondary cardiac prevention, while remaining cognizant of the patient's emotional, physical and cultural needs
Develop organizational skills to manage a patient caseload
Develop effective communication and presentation skills with the interdisciplinary team
Prescription of pharmacological agents and treatments and non-pharmacological therapies,
Counseling and education to meet patient needs
The position has responsibility for providing administrative expertise in the coordination and delivery of patient care to pre and post op open heart patients in collaboration with the staff caring for the patients and the cardiothoracic surgeon. Additional responsibilities include pre and post-operative teaching, working on the admission process, and patient and family teaching. The Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner is also responsible for collecting STS and CCORP data and presenting this data at department meetings.
