Under the direction of Nursing Office Personnel (Nursing Director/Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, nursing support manager or staffing coordinator) responds to and facilitates transport of patients throughout the organization. The definition of transport is described as, but not limited to, movement of patients to and from diagnostic testing/procedures, transfer of patients between floors/unit of care, transportation of remains to the morgue, and transport of goods/medical equipment throughout the organization.
This position requires frequent walking and movement of patients/objects whose weight may be in excess of 25lbs. The position requires employment of sound body mechanics and the ability to safely transfer patients to and from medical equipment. During non-transport times patient care transporters may be called upon to perform additional duty requirements entailing clerical assistance to patient care floors as assigned. Clerical assistance is defined as charting of reports into appropriate medical records, general upkeep of the physical environment, answering phones, observing patients and assisting with transfer/ambulation of patients in a given patient care unit. Additional duties may be assigned based on competency validation such as, but not limited to, assembly/take-down of skeletal traction.

The Junior Developer is involved in supporting our software and report development teams in all aspects of the development process – design, development, and testing. Collaborating with various departments to identify needs and opportunities, the Junior Developer assists with creating solutions for improved data management and delivery. The Junior Developer is instrumental in supporting developments in various forms, including Enterprise Reports, requiring knowledge in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), to build and maintain reports. The Junior Developer will help maintain the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed. The Junior Developer will execute the development process and continue to learn new technology skills to apply to future problems and projects.

Assists the Unit Director in identifying equipment and supply needs for the unit. Coordinates staff Schedule. Reviews/revises policies and procedures. Services as a resource to other nursing staff for problem-solving. Helps other to use hospital resources. Review hours worked in runs payroll reports. Communicates with other departments as needed to provide efficient and appropriate patient care. The Clinical Manger, on occasion may need to assist with patient care needs. For example, covering unscheduled absences if unable to find additional staffing. Assist in retaining Nursing department staff. Participates in assigned committees/task forces. Takes lead on projects and completes in a timely manner. Contributes to the development of more complex patient care plans. Serves as a resource to staff for complex patients.
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the administrative direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the highest-level financial executive. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has complete oversight of all fiscal functions within Monterey Park Hospital (MPH) including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the hospital’s policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, budgeting, and auditing. The CFO oversees the planning and direction of all finances, and formulates long-range goals and plans for expansion. Develops and establishes operating policies consistent with overall objectives and ensures their adequate execution. The CFO manages, directs, plans and coordinates the functions and activities of assigned areas; serves as part of the hospital’s senior management team. The CFO is to manage the financial affairs of the hospital according to the business unit goals, sound business practices, corporate and hospital’s policies and procedures according to the government regulatory requirements. The incumbent will ensure efficient utilization of resources in order to meet the needs of the organization and will maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and government agencies and accrediting bodies as required.
Participates in executing administrative decisions as these functions relate to and impact the provision of total patient care. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with all departments and with members of the Medical Staff to accomplish the strategic goals and to achieve and enhance the mission of Monterey Park Hospital.

Under general supervision, the position is responsible for registering Inpatients, Outpatients, and Ancillary patients, compiling complete and accurate information for hospital records and timely reimbursement. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), is a member of the health care team who assists in the delivery of total patient care, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds the Department of Health Service (DHS), The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements.

Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is currently recruiting a Per Diem Admitting Representative. The shifts are Friday and Saturday graveyard and additional shifts as needed. This position reports to the Director of Patient Financial Services.

Receives and transcribes physician orders and provides proper follow through with ancillary departments. Reviews all charts for completeness of information and assembles charts in appropriate format. Maintains patients' charges daily. Assists with completion of ER charge sheets. Helps maintain equipment in working order, requesting repairs/replacement when necessary. Greets and guides visitors and families of patients.
