Performs all duties with a thorough understanding of both theoretical and technical issues. Performs quality control appropriately and documents and resolves and QC failures according to policy. Recognizes the relationship between test results and responds appropriately. Calls all critical values to physician.
The Nursery Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the obstetrical patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds the Department of Health Service (DHS). The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements. Qualifications: One year acute care experience preferred. Current California RN license, BCLS and NRP. Graduate or approved nursing program preferred.
Position Summary
The Patient Account Specialist review and completes charity applications for state and local funding. Assist patients and physician’s office with billing questions in a cheerful approach. Review accounts and provide needed information as requested by the Central Business Office for proper reimbursement. Assist the Patient Access Director in the daily operations at the facility level. The Director of Patient Care Services is a leadership position with 24 hour clinical and management responsibility. The Director serves as liaison to the ACNO/CNO, clinical staff, patients and their families, and the community. The Director will collaborate with physician leaders and other clinical and administrative leaders to assure that quality, service and operational objectives are met. The Director ensures and carries out the organization's purpose in a manner consistent with the mission and vision, objectives, and established policies. This role includes primary responsibility for patient care services, nursing practice/standards, contract management, operations, throughput and budgetary accountability for respective service lines. The Director will participate in strategic planning to develop objectives and goals to improve efficiency and ensure quality delivery of healthcare services.
Serves as a member of the patient care team whose primary responsibility is facilitating continuous, smooth, efficient patient flow of admissions, unit transfers, and early discharges. Coordinates with each department to ensure processes for admissions and discharges are carried out in an efficient manner identifying and resolving barriers to these processes. Gathers and reports patient flow data collection for admissions and discharges on occasion. Makes suggestions for improved patient flow processes. Participates in education and presentations to staff and management on patient flow barriers to admissions and discharges. The Clinical Manager will provide education and training to improve the clinical competencies of the staff. POSITION SUMMARY
Under the administrative direction of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is the highest-level financial executive. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has complete oversight of all fiscal functions within Monterey Park Hospital (MPH) including the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the hospital’s policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls, budgeting, and auditing. The CFO oversees the planning and direction of all finances, and formulates long-range goals and plans for expansion. Develops and establishes operating policies consistent with overall objectives and ensures their adequate execution. The CFO manages, directs, plans and coordinates the functions and activities of assigned areas; serves as part of the hospital’s senior management team. The CFO is to manage the financial affairs of the hospital according to the business unit goals, sound business practices, corporate and hospital’s policies and procedures according to the government regulatory requirements. The incumbent will ensure efficient utilization of resources in order to meet the needs of the organization and will maintain compliance with all federal, state, local, and government agencies and accrediting bodies as required.
Participates in executing administrative decisions as these functions relate to and impact the provision of total patient care. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with all departments and with members of the Medical Staff to accomplish the strategic goals and to achieve and enhance the mission of Monterey Park Hospital.
