Position Summary: Uses industry experience and knowledge to develop pricing models for proposals. Serves as the SME for the Corporate Managed Care Contracting department. Provides consultation, analysis, and guidance to create pricing solutions to maximize profit. Supports and validates hospital contracting activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis, and reporting. Conducts contract valuation analysis in support of contract negotiations and revenue enhancement or cost management strategies.

The OR Technician performs scrubbing duties for operative procedures and assists the Nurse Circulator as directed. He/she is responsible to the Nurse Manager, Surgery and Nurse Manager, CV/Spine Care but is directly supervised by the RN in the operating room to which he/she is assigned for scrubbing and other duties

JOB SUMMARY: Assist the Manager of Purchasing in the selection and purchase of Medical and Surgical supplies and equipment. Promote product standardization, competitive bidding and adherence to group purchasing agreements. Work cooperatively with department managers in product selection and budgeting. Take an active and supportive role in hospital value analysis and cost containment.
