- The House Supervisor position has responsibility for providing administrative expertise and leadership in the identification and resolution of patient and unit related problems, using all relevant resources to affect resolutions. During 12 hour shifts and 2 weekends per schedule, the House Supervisor has the delegated responsibility to represent Administration on site and will communicate directly with the Administrator On-Call as needed for definitive resolution procedures. This position is responsible for the coordination of nursing units’ staffing in collaboration with the individual unit clinical coordinators, ACLS transports (to/from ED and to/from tests), and facilitate discharges. Additional responsibilities include assisting in case management, assuring core measure compliance, participation in patient satisfaction, monitoring and compliance assurances pertaining to safety, wage/hour, employment discrimination, accreditation, licensure, certification, reimbursement or other necessary regulatory approvals within the scope of the specific assigned position for both nursing staff employees and contracted nursing staff members. This position is also responsible for assisting in the selection, development and on going evaluation of staffing office personnel in their work setting.

This position is for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Under general supervision of the Director of Rehab, the per diem Occupational Therapist conducts patient assessments, participates in the development of the plan of care, implements treatment, and provides care according to patient specific age and/or developmental needs. Demonstrates flexibility and good communication skills and collaborates with other health care team members in the delivery of care.
The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. The Insurance Verifier provides a timely and accurate insurance verification; obtaining current eligibility, benefit coverage and authorizations to provide the necessary data to ensure reimbursement in a timely manner. This position identifies reimbursement resources for patient care and maximizing the effort to capture it. Identifies patient responsibilities, insurance reimbursement and other 3rd party reimbursement sources. Working knowledge of contracts with the ability to interpret per diem rates, case rates, stop loss, resulting in timely and accurate reimbursement. Maintains effective working relations with coworkers, case management, outside companies, and visitors using guest relation techniques while professionally representing the visions and values of AHMC- ARMC. Works closely with the patient service representatives, reviewing their work for accuracy and assisting them in their duties as needed.

The Director of Materials Management is accountable for providing leadership which results in a cost effective, efficient, materials management function all in a manner.
Under general supervision and medical direction, ensures prompt, efficient and accurate performance of laboratory testing services within assigned laboratory section. Responsible for one department /shift of the laboratory. Directs activity and reporting of test results performed by non-licensed personnel. Is capable of performing all the duties of a Medical Technologist II. Consults personnel for technical errors in the department/shift he/she is responsible for.
The Transporter, under minimum supervision, is responsible for the transferring of patients’ from the bed, gurney wheelchair and/or table and transporting patients safely throughout the medical center. In addition, the Transporter will also assist the technologists within Imaging Services with room set up, obtaining and restocking of all supplies, completion of various department logs, and patient positioning required for various imaging modalities.

JOB SUMMARY: The Unit Secretary, reporting to the Nursing Unit Director, with assignment and direction from the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse/LVN designee, is responsible for assisting in the planning, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing station by performance of clerical/ receptionist &/or Cardiac Monitoring duties. This position is responsible for maintaining the physical environment of the nursing unit. The US supports the hospital mission and vision with emphasis on customer relations. The US utilizes knowledge of patient’s age, spiritual and cultural diversity into unit communication & organization. The US is a non-licensed position whose training & skills enables him/her to interpret basic cardiac rhythms, recognize & alert the RN to significant rhythm changes or common dysrhythmias. The position contributes to the provision of safety and quality care that result in positive outcomes in patient care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- · High School Graduate or equivalent experience preferred
- · Minimum of one year of acute hospital experience preferred.
