This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration. Collaborating with department and multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and department service applying AHMC Core Values to the performance of every job duty.
Provide social work services to patients and families to facilitate their ability to cope with psychological and social problems related to illness and hospitalization. Provides appropriate discharge planning, abuse detection and reporting, referral, consultation and counseling services.

- Under general supervision, performs a variety of fixed and portable radiographs according to department quality standards. This position requires performing at least three radiology modalities from the following: X-Ray, CT scan, mammography, and angiography special procedures. The position requires performing procedures for the minimum three modalities at least once twice in a month, and taking call on rotational basis.

The Certified Nursing Assistant assists the clinical staff in the care of and treatment for patients in an acute care setting under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Under the direction of the Nursing Director, assists with activity program in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, as well as established policy and procedures to assure that the spiritual, emotional, recreational, and social needs of the patient is met and maintained on an individual basis.

The Monitor Tech/Unit Secretary, reporting to the Nursing Unit Director, with assignment and direction from the Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse, is responsible for assisting in the planning, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing station by performance of clerical/ receptionist &/or Cardiac Monitoring duties. This position is responsible for maintaining the physical environment of the nursing unit. The MT/US supports the hospital mission and vision with emphasis on customer relations. The MT/US utilizes knowledge of patient’s age, spiritual and cultural diversity into unit communication & organization. The US is a non-licensed position whose training & skills enables him/her to interpret basic cardiac rhythms, recognize & alert the RN to significant rhythm changes or common dysrhythmias. The position contributes to the provision of safety and quality care that result in positive outcomes in patient care.
Overall responsibility for medical staff quality and PI monitoring, including but not limited to peer review, ongoing professional practice evaluations, mortality reviews, blood usage reviews, operative reviews, etc. Manages and provides leadership in PI/Quality opportunities. Provides oversight responsibility for monitoring PI profiles for the physicians. Facilitates and/or participates in quality related projects or training throughout the organization. Performs comprehensive retrospective and/or concurrent reviews of cases as needed. Manages activities and monitoring related to core measure standards, compliance and performance improvement.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Completion of Nursing Assistant Course, Current certification for Nurse Aide (C.N.A.).
- High School Graduate or equivalent experience preferred
- Six months acute hospital experience preferred.
- Current BCLS card (AHA) .

Performs laboratory test procedures in one or more sections of the Clinical Laboratory, using good judgment and independent actions. Have good communication skills and the ability to effectively provide customer service to all customers. Extended duty and on-call may be required as needed.
The Case Manager Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for the preparation, recording and tracking of initial and retrospective payments for hospital services. Answers, directs and records departmental phone calls from a variety of sources (Insurance companies, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health Agencies, Durable Medical Equipment, other health care providers, etc.) understanding priorities for the delivery of quality patient care. Coordinates with Discharge Planners for continuum of patient care, for example, durable medical equipment (DME) and Levels of Care.
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), under the supervision of the Supervisor and/or Lead Therapist shall deliver all types of respiratory modalities to patients as established by the department’s standard operating procedures. The RCP must have the knowledge and skills needed to carry out these procedures. His/Her knowledge must include pharmacology as it pertains to Respiratory Therapy Drugs, Cardiopulmonary Anatomy, Physiology, Acid-Base Analysis, Electrocardiography, Bronchoscopy, Holter Monitoring, C-Section stand-by, Neonatal Intubation, Pulmonary Function and Treadmill Testing. As well, must include indications and absolute contradictions for IPPB, Oxygen Administration, Chest Physiotherapy, Aerosol Administration and Mechanical Ventilator.
Demonstrates skill and knowledge in the use of all ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates technical proficiency in producing diagnostic ultrasound scans. Examines requisitions for appropriate procedural information to include physician order, history, procedure. Demonstrates competency in working with patient populations in all age groups.
The Special Procedure RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Identifies and anticipates life threatening arrhythmias, and provides intervention and proper administration of all ACLS medications.
As a member of the health care team responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit. Assists patients with activities of daily living and helps to promote a safe, comfortable environment that fosters the physiological and psychosocial well-being of the patient.
