Functions as a leader in medical nutrition therapy, promoting wellness through optimal nutrition. Collaborates with physicians, nurses and other ancillary staff to provide optimal nutrition support. Functions as a member of the multi-disciplinary health care team screening and/or assessing newly admitted patients/residents to identify those at nutrition risk. Completes comprehensive medical nutrition therapy assessment for those patients identified at nutrition risk. Provides therapeutic diet education based on patient needs and literacy level. Develops and implements an appropriate plan of care. Develops through orientation and continuing education, and according to the American Dietetic Association standards of practice, knowledge and skills as appropriate for working with patients of any age, including the child, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, and the terminally ill. Regularly provides quality service to customers following established protocols. Maintains confidentiality. Actively participates in the growth and development of the Clinical Dietitian group

This position requires providing care/service to an acutely ill through rehabilitating patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

OB SUMMARY: The Certified Nurse Assistant, reporting to the Nursing Unit Director, with assignment and direction from the Registered Nurse &/or LVN. This position is directly responsible for the delivery of high quality individualized basic nursing care. The Nursing Assistant supports the hospital mission and vision. The Nurse Assistant utilizes knowledge of patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. The position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive outcomes in patient care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Completion of Nursing Assistant Course, Current certification for Nurse Aide (C.N.A.).
- High School Graduate or equivalent experience preferred
- Six months acute hospital experience preferred.
- Current BCLS card (AHA) .
The primary purpose of this position is to ensure that appropriate authorization and reimbursement resources are in place for elective imaging procedures/services provided.
Primary Function
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Senior Executive Vice President and the Corporate team in performing diversified administrative functions, which includes the maintenance of confidential records.
The Transporter, under minimum supervision, is responsible for the transferring of patients’ from the bed, gurney wheelchair and/or table and transporting patients safely throughout the medical center. In addition, the Transporter will also assist the technologists within Imaging Services with room set up, obtaining and restocking of all supplies, completion of various department logs, and patient positioning required for various imaging modalities.

The Information Desk Coordinator is to display courtesy with all patients, staff, visitors and work in a cooperative manner to fulfill the goals of the department and hospital.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Director of Human Resources is responsible for managing employee relations issues, guiding and providing training to the leadership team, and administering Human Resources policies and procedures. The HIM Coding Specialist I is required to have a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission, vision and values of San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. The HIM Coding Specialist I is required to ensure that all patient records are coded within the bill-hold limits (4 days). HIM Coding Specialist I is further responsible to ensure that all charts pass the SMART cycle and are adjusted as needed. The HIM Coding Specialist I must have a comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10 PCS, CPT conventions in accordance with Official Guidelines for Coding and Reporting. The HIM Coding Specialist I is responsible for abstracting data into Evident/Thrive system using 3M encoder. Furthermore, the HIM Coding Specialist I will work internally and externally with coding staff, HIM director and outside auditors and consultants to ensure the efficiency and quality of coding. The HIM Coding Specialist I must at all times safeguard and protect the patient’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the patient’s medical information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy and HIPAA regulations.
