JOB SUMMARY: The Certified Nurse Assistant, reporting to the Nursing Unit Director, with assignment and direction from the Registered Nurse &/or LVN. This position is directly responsible for the delivery of high quality individualized basic nursing care. The Nursing Assistant supports the hospital mission and vision. The Nurse Assistant utilizes knowledge of patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. The position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive outcomes in patient care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Completion of Nursing Assistant Course, Current certification for Nurse Aide (C.N.A.).
- High School Graduate or equivalent experience preferred
- Six months acute hospital experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support/AHA ,NRP.
- 6 Months from hire: Birth & Beyond Breastfeeding Certificate
Performs a variety of specialized patient care duties as related to therapeutic/diagnostic procedures performed in the cardiovascular laboratory, cardiology and radiology department. Nursing care is delivered to a patient population ranging from adult through geriatric. Under the direction of the physician, the RN will coordinate the activities of the interdisciplinary team members.

This Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) position, under the supervision of the Supervisor and/or Lead Therapist, is responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as defined by departmental policies and procedures. Responsibilities include general respiratory patient care, emergency care, critical care, patient assessment, blood gas collection and analysis, and ventilator management. This position also requires utilization of advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations.

This RN position reports to the Clinical Director of Surgical Services. Responsibilities include directing PCA activity, synthesizing patient information, assessment of patients, planning of care/intervention, teaching of patients/family, implementation of treatment plan, MD orders, documentation and evaluation. Integration of patient care standards are incorporated into all clinical activities.

Under the direction of the department manager, performs interpretive, patient care, and technical functions to insure proper radiologic diagnosis of patients. Radiology technicians must be able to closely follow physician instructions, prepare radiograph equipment, position patients, correctly and accurately capture the requested diagnostic image.
JOB SUMMARY: The CLS assists in the operation of the hospital clinical laboratory by overseeing and performing routine and STAT tests in the lab Hematology, Chemistry, Blood Bank, Microbiology departments. CLS assumes responsibility for the accuracy of results and the appropriate documentation of patient, quality control, and maintenance data. The CLS consults with nursing and medical staff as needed. Monitors section functions and assists in the development and revision of policies and procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or the equivalent preferred.
- A valid and current Clinical Laboratory Technologist license. Issued by the State of California Department of Health Services.
- BCLS card (AHA) within 90 days hire.
- Be able to converse well in English because of physician, nurse, and patient contact.
- Have good manual dexterity.
- Work well under supervision and in times of stress.

The Director of Emergency Department is the designated leader responsible for providing the overall leadership and direction for the Emergency Department. The Director has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for planning, organizing, developing, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the human and material resources necessary for quality patient care and effective nursing operations. The Director participates in assessing the environment, forecasting trends, transmitting values, communicating ideas, developing and implementing standards and initiating programs and systems.
