Provides clerical support and services to meet specific needs of a nursing unit. Participates in and coordinates telecommunications between nursing and all departments. Is responsible for preparing, compiling and maintaining patient records. Coordinates maintenance of office supplies and forms PAR levels and nurse’s station. Communicates effectively with all customers and assures accurate maintenance of a patient’s medical record. Answers call lights I timely manner. Transcribes orders efficiently/accurately.

The respiratory care practitioner level I is responsible for general floor care as well as assimilation, assessment and synthesis in the critical care areas. In addition the respiratory care practitioner level I is expected to exercise sound professional judgment in consulting with the medical staff. Orientation of new employees to critical care areas and general floor and/or cardiopulmonary procedures is also a responsibility at this level. The respiratory care practitioner level III is expected to work independently in the critical care areas and/or the cardiorespiratory area.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- High school graduate. Has a current state license with the Board of Quality Assurance for Respiratory Care Practitioners. Graduate of a 2 year AMA approved Respiratory Care Program with 6 months of critical care experience.

- Certified by the National Board of Respiratory Therapy as certified Pulmonary Function Technician and Is
- Current. BCLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA)

- NRP is required in NICU
Under general supervision, performs a variety of fixed and portable radiographs according to department quality standards. This position requires performing at least three radiology modalities from the following: X-Ray, CT scan, mammography, and angiography special procedures. The position requires performing procedures for the minimum three modalities at least once twice in a month, and taking call on rotational basis.

The ER Technician under the direct supervision of a registered nurse participates in the delivery of patient care within the critical care environment. This position includes, but is not limited to following the essential functions. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Licensure in the state of California as a Registered Nurse (RN). Proficient in oral and written communication skills. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting
Current California RN license BCLS, ACLS, Basic Dysrhythmia certificate
