Under general supervision, inventories and stocks par level location and medical supply carts; issues supplies and equipment; transports supplies to/from the storeroom area; assists with shipping and receiving activities; maintains inventory records of supply issues; performs physical count of storeroom inventories.

The Labor and Delivery RN provides direct care, communicates with physicians / Nurse Director / Co – workers, as appropriate about changes in the patient’s clinical situation including results of diagnostic studies and is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in situation or response to treatment.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Education: Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Certification in specialty area preferred.
Current California RN license
Current California CNS certificate

BCLS, NRP (AHA), Birth and Beyond Breastfeeding certificate within 6 months of hire

The position of Speech Therapy Manager is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating, mentoring and improving the activities of all Speech Service line. This includes staffing and program development in Acute Care, Acute Rehabilitation, and Outpatient Services, at both Garfield Medical Center and Monterey Park Hospital. The position reports to the Director of Rehabilitation Services at each Garfield Medical Center.

- Entry level degree and appropriate licensure in Allied Health Profession required (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology).
- Minimum five years patient care experience to include acute care, outpatient and inpatient rehab.
- Supervisory experience, teaching, training and mentoring experience preferred.
- Current BLS.

Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, maintains drug inventories, and pharmaceutical service records (i.e. patient profiles), prepares medication, issues medication to patient care areas, restocks medications, and assists the pharmacist in all other areas of drug distribution as needed and allowed by State Law. Commensurate with class standing, provides pharmaceutical care to patients by promoting health; preventing disease; and assessing, monitoring, initiating, and modifying medication use to ensure that drug therapy regimens are safe and effective under the supervision of a pharmacist. The Staff Nurse is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for the assessment the imaging nurse is responsible for prescreening patients and coordinating between different imaging departments. Assist during diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures. The imaging nurse is responsible for mild sedation monitoring, assist in case of contrast allergic reaction, help with Dobutamine and bubble studies, and evaluation of care for patients and their families in compliance with the standards for care at AHMC Seton Medical Center, and Nurse Practice Act.
The OR Materials Buyer is responsible for managing the OR supply inventory including ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of all supplies used in the Operating Room. In addition, the OR Materials Buyer reviews documentation to assure accurate billing of both routine, special and consignment items; serves as a resource to operating staff regarding recall notices, troubleshooting supplies, and tissue tracking documentation. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Surgical Services.
