The Monitor Technician is skilled in reading and interpreting cardiac monitors and arrhythmias. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for clerical support on the patient care unit. Maintains accurate order entry transmission of physician’s orders to ancillary departments. Works under the direction of a licensed nurse. Accurately and timely transcribes all orders from the chart to order entry in Imed including CCU orders and DOU emergency orders. Utilizes computer skills for accurate unit census and order entry, and maintains all log books, (i.e. census, telemetry, consults).

Staffing Assistant Coordinator assists the director in maintaining adequate staffing levels on all nursing units according to acuity indicators. Coordinates the hiring and maintaining of travelers/registry staff by assuring all required documents are completed and all clearances processed. Maintains day-to-day office activities, including filing, ordering supplies, processing all emails as it pertains to LOA’s, PTO’s, Swaps, New Hires, Terminations in Concerro. Assists with new hires & travelers to build profiles in Concerro, build schedules, educate staff on Concerro Staffing Program. Assists Staffing Coordinators during high volume part of the day with phone calls for staff and/or registry.
Prepares and sets up cold foods for patient meals. The Food Service production worker assists in preparing cold foods for cafeteria and/or catering services. Uses approved culinary techniques with standardized recipes and products to prepare patient/café menus. Prepares and delivers late trays for patients within 20 minutes of request; retrieves voice mail requests timely.
The Quality Control Training Analyst reviews previous day’s admissions, registrations, insurance notification faxes, and identifies and corrects all demographic information, reviews required forms to ensure appropriate fields are checked, signed, timed, dated and witnessed. Records errors by registrar and provides report to manager.
Patient Access Representative demonstrates the ability to accurately input demographic and insurance information for patients admitted to the Hospital, Emergency Department and Outpatient Departments. Acknowledge consumers promptly and in a courteous manor, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service to all we serve.

Maintains effective patient flow and completes the admitting process in a timely manner to assist in prompt treatment of the patient. Maintains effective working relations with coworkers, nurses, physicians and other hospital staff members in order to insure workflow effectiveness. Greets and assists all customers and visitors, whether in person or by telephone, using guest relation techniques while professionally representing the visions and values of AHMC- ARMC.
