This position is responsible for assisting in the implementation of an effective facility-wide Infection Prevention program in keeping with Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Joint Commission, OSHA, Title 22, Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and other regulatory agencies. Responsible for or assisting with monitoring, evaluating, planning and coordinating the Infection Prevention program designed to enhance the quality of patient care. Coordinates staff education as it relates to Infection Control and Prevention practices including general orientation and inservicing staff.

Provide and coordinate patient care, educate patients and family about various health conditions, and provide advice
and emotional support to patients and their families. The Admission/Discharge nurse will work proactively across all
clinical services to ensure all plans and arrangements are in place for the patients; admission and discharges. The A/D
nurse assists with admission and discharge paperwork to support hospital throughput. The A/D nurse will respond to
requests for admissions/discharge assistance in departments throughout the hospital. The A/D nurse may be asked to
assist staff nurses with patient procedures such as phlebotomy, initiating or discontinuation of IV’s relative to the
admission/discharge process.

The Ambulatory Surgery Center RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration. Applies appropriate theory as a basis for decisions regarding nursing practice. Perform initial physiological and psychosocial needs assessment on all patients within 30 minutes of admissions and shift assessment within (2) hours of coming on duty. Communicates appropriate data to the physician and other patient care team members. Collaborates with other discipline to plan and coordinate care.
The unit secretary / monitor technician through communication, requisitioning and management of supplies and equipment, coordinates the activities of the nursing staff, the patient, the physician, other hospital departments and visitors. He/she performs general receptionist and clerical duties in order to facilitate efficient functioning of the nursing unit. Is skilled in reading and interpreting cardiac monitors and arrhythmias.
Assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill young adolescent through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. The Staff Speech Pathologist organizes and coordinates speech pathology treatment programs. He/she participates in direct patient evaluation and treatment to facilitate and/or restore speech, language, cognitive and swallowing functions and collaborates with interdisciplinary treatment team.

- Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology.
- Valid California Speech Pathology License (or eligible).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligible.

The Charge Nurse is responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift. Directly supervises and communications with all staff along with the Director of the department. Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staff. Ensure the efficient functions of the department. Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.

- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BCLS, ACLS, NRP (AHA) Fetal Monitoring,NIHS Stroke Cert, upon hire and maintain current
- Birth/Beyond within 6 months of hire.
- Previous supervisory experience, preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. .
- Basic Dysrhythmia preferred.

The Insurance Verifier provides administrative support and performs general office functions in the Outpatient Bariatric Department. Completes insurance verification and coordinates patients’ clearances with their doctors.
