The Monitor Technician is skilled in reading and interpreting cardiac monitors and arrhythmias. Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for clerical support on the patient care unit. Maintains accurate order entry transmission of physician’s orders to ancillary departments. Works under the direction of a licensed nurse. Accurately and timely transcribes all orders from the chart to order entry in Imed including CCU orders and ICU emergency orders. Utilizes computer skills for accurate unit census and order entry, and maintains all log books, (i.e. census, telemetry, consults).

Candidate will be efficient in performing radiology procedures .Candidate will explain procedures to the patients, comfort, and position patients on the exam table. Candidate will select technique parameters in keeping with ALARA. The candidate will review and evaluate digital images for quality to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes. Candidate will have experience in surgical scrub technique or have minimum 2 year experience in Cath Lab and/or interventional procedures and willing to train for scrub technique competencies and function as a scrub tech as required. Willing to rotate on call as required.
Candidate will use radiation safety measures and protection devices to comply with government regulations and to ensure safety of patients, visitors, and staff. Candidates’ job skills require excellent written and verbal communication, sensitivity to the physical and psychological needs of patients. Attention to detail and the ability to follow a physician's instructions will be important to the success of working in a team concept. Position requires stamina transporting patients to/from the hospital bed to the Radiology Department.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
2. Pass a National Test (ARRT) have certificate
3. State Licensed (CRT)
4. Must hold a current certificate of the CRT
5. Current BCLS required (AHA)
6. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 90 days of hire.
7. 12 lead EKG course, within 90 days of hire.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation, provided to the women and newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages of the childbirth process. The L&D RN is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing care in the Labor and Delivery Department setting, including, but not limited to, providing labor support and education, monitoring maternal & fetal conditions, and monitoring the mother`s and baby`s vital signs during labor & birth, and managing a variety of potential issues that may arise. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. The Nursery Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the obstetrical patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds the Department of Health Service (DHS). The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements. Qualifications: One year acute care experience preferred. Under the general supervision of the Director of Laboratory Services, the Clinical Laboratory Scientist II performs various chemical, hematological, immunohematological, serological and microbiological tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Under general supervision and medical direction, ensures prompt, efficient and accurate performance of laboratory testing services within assigned laboratory section. Responsible for one department /shift of the laboratory. Directs activity and reporting of test results performed by non-licensed personnel. Is capable of performing all the duties of a Medical Technologist II. Consults personnel for technical errors in the department/shift he/she is responsible for.
The OR Technician scrubs for surgical cases in the Operating Room maintaining equipment and supplies, using the principles of surgical asepsis, and standard precautions. Collaborates with charge nurse concerning abilities and assignments for operating room techniques. Demonstrates an understanding of the planned surgical procedure and ensures that all necessary instruments and implants are available and sterilized prior to the start of the surgery.
The Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician maintain equipment and supplies in a state of sterility to be used in special procedures, the Operating Room, and Labor & Delivery. Maintains medical and surgical asepsis and principles of Standard Precautions at all times. SPD Tech also maintains equipment inventory and disinfection for patient care equipment used in the hospital.
