Completes all timed draws, STAT, and ASAP orders before ending the shift. Strictly follows Hospital and Lab policies/procedures regarding patient care with special attention to isolation procedures. Assists in orientation of new personnel as requested.

Responsibilities include general respiratory patient care, emergency care, critical care, patient assessment, and patient plans of care, patient/family education and patient/family discharge instruction. This position also requires utilization of advanced practitioner skills to intervene in complex patient care situations. The Respiratory Care Practitioner II assists in the development of policies and procedures, patient protocols, education/coaching of nursing, support personnel, patients, and caregivers and participates in multidisciplinary patient care conferences and performance improvement activities.

The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (“RCP II”) is responsible for providing safe, quality respiratory patient care and teaching to patients and families. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with the health care team, participation in on-going feedback regarding performance improvement, implementation of clinical pathway/plan of care to guide patient care delivery.
The RCP II must demonstrate proficiency in adult general care areas, critical care areas, Bronchoscopy procedures and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. As needed, this position may be assigned to perform Pulmonary Function Tests or act as a relief lead. Acting in a relief lead capacity includes organizing, delegating and coordinating the daily activities of the Respiratory staff.

Monterey Park Hospital, located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is a 101 bed acute care community hospital. Monterey Park Hospital is recruiting for a Registered Nurse for our OR. This is a per diem, 8 hour, variable shift position. This position reports to the Director of Perioperative Services.
The Licensed Vocational Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care and meets the communication needs of the patient and family under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of normal limits of vital signs and commonly used lab tests by recognizing abnormal findings and reports them to the RN. Under leadership of RN the LVN gathers data on patient’s physical and emotional needs. LVN gathers data on family psychological needs. Performs simple procedures skillfully (e.g. dressing changes, urinary catheterizations, tube irrigations). Participates in patient care plan conferences and in discharge planning.
Assesses patient/family health problems and resources, takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.

The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Corporate Director of Materials Management/Supply Chain is the management and supervision of the evaluation, procurement, storage, distribution, and forecasting of all supplies and equipment. The Corporate Director of Materials Management/Supply Chain is responsible for the overall activities of the Corporate Materials Management Department, which includes the coordination of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts and the Materials Management computer system. The incumbent plans, organizes and directs the supply chain processes in accordance with established policies and in compliance with the Joint Commission, state and federal regulatory requirements. The incumbent recommends budget information to the facilities for capital expenditures, operating expenses and revenue. The incumbent uses independent judgment to make decisions related to Materials Management activities dealing with assigned projects. The incumbent assist the Chief Financial Officer with company-wide initiatives.

A California registered technician who under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist maintains drug inventories, patient medication profiles, prepares medications, issues medications in the appropriate manner to patient care areas, restocks medications, and assists the pharmacists in all other areas of drug distribution as needed and allowed by State Law. The Central Supply Technician is responsible for issuing, stocking, and delivering supplies to all areas and departments in the Central Supply department. Responsibilities include Central Supply stock replenishment, par stock replenishment, equipment cleaning and data entry.
JOB SUMMARY: The Staff Pharmacist ensures the appropriate, safe, and effective use of medications in a cost-efficient manner. Physician orders and medication profiles are evaluated and processed to facilitate the prompt and accurate delivery of medications to patients. Drug information is provided to health care professionals and patients to assist in providing rational drug therapy.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- Current State of California Pharmacist License
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy preferred.
- Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree.
- One year of post-graduate residency training (preferred).
- One year of acute care hospital experience (preferred).
- Current and maintain updated BCLS Card (AHA) within 30 days of hire.
