Able to work in all basic functions of a CLS in the main lab, blood bank and microbiology. Performs quality control procedures for routine and stat testing of patient samples. Maintains records; performs and records instrument maintenance; troubleshooting instrument and sample problems; regularly utilizes the lab computer for various aspects of daily work; verifies completion of work using the computer. Able to work independently in a generalist capacity while adhering to standard lab practices.
Collect blood samples from all age groups including neonates. Responsible for front and back office procedures, computer entry, collect blood samples, do basic lab test processing, set-up Microbiology cultures. Be able to organize workload to work effectively in a fast paced setting and prioritize duties for routine and stat testing.
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility of the Corporate Director of Materials Management/Supply Chain is the management and supervision of the evaluation, procurement, storage, distribution, and forecasting of all supplies and equipment. The Corporate Director of Materials Management/Supply Chain is responsible for the overall activities of the Corporate Materials Management Department, which includes the coordination of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts and the Materials Management computer system. The incumbent will interact effectively and professionally with facilities directors, executives, and managers and corporate to reach positive outcomes. The incumbent plans, organizes and directs the supply chain processes in accordance with established policies and in compliance with the Joint Commission, state and federal regulatory requirements. The incumbent recommends budget information to the facilities for capital expenditures, operating expenses and revenue. The incumbent uses independent judgment to make decisions related to Materials Management activities dealing with assigned projects. The incumbent assist the Chief Financial Officer with company-wide initiatives.
The Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician maintain equipment and supplies in a state of sterility to be used in special procedures, the Operating Room, and Labor & Delivery. Maintains medical and surgical asepsis and principles of Standard Precautions at all times.

Schedules, coordinates and monitors the day to day operational functions of Chemistry section. Implements quality standards and provides oversight of section processes to achieve excellent outcome and quality patient care. Performs Laboratory testing on patient and control samples, and/or prepares blood components for transfusion. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. This knowledge includes the use of specialized analytical instrumentation, clinical correlation of test results, quality control requirements, and preventative maintenance. Develops and maintains orientation, training and competency tools and ensures compliance. Assists the Laboratory Services Director in evaluating and documenting employee performance. Assists Laboratory Services Director in the recruitment, hiring, termination and retention of employees. Coordinates staff development activities of section including education, competency completion, validation, and orientation. Participates in data collection and analysis as requested by management. Maximizes efficiency in section operations. Exhibits willingness to resolve problems as they arise.
Performs general maintenance and repair services of the hospital’s physical plant; equipment, buildings and properties. Duties may include one or more of the following areas: mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, paint or HVAC. May operate and maintain stationary gas and oil fired boilers and auxiliaries in supplying hot water and steam for other power generating purposes.

The Stroke and Stemi Coordinator nurse will lead the Stroke and Stemi Program at AHMC Seton Medical Center. Our Stroke and Stemi Coordinator will collaborate with the Stroke and Stemi Team; the team consists of a physician champion who engages physicians and leads process change, and a stroke coordinator who guides the entire program. The core team is supported by active participants from leadership and departments throughout the hospital. The Stroke and Stemi Coordinator Nurse will be in close communication with the facility to address Stroke and Stemi Coordinator matters. It is expected for the candidate in this position to be comfortable providing education to staff members and health care workers.
