The Registered Nurse provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. The HR Generalist provides general HR information (Employment, Benefits, and Compensation) to the managers, and staff. Refers issues to the Director of Human Resources, Manager or Specialist staff. Provides other administrative support to the Director of Human Resources and other members of the HR team. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of all Human Resources policies, conducting investigations and supporting members of leadership council on the full range of Human Resources issues. Enters data into HRIS system, maintains employee files and other employee records, and provides other administrative support to the HR Director.
Under the direction of the Nursing Director, is responsible for planning and implementing the unit’s therapeutic patient activities, and assisting patients with daily living activities. Additionally, he/she is responsible for functioning well as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participating in the unit community relations program. This position requires providing care/service to an acutely ill through rehabilitating geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support San Gabriel Valley Medical Center’s strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
Primary Function
Responsible for the effective function and coordination of the credentialing and re-credentialing process and other assigned tasks. Coordinates with physicians, external agencies, administration, nursing department, risk management / performance improvement department, and medical records department. Reports to the CVO Director.
The Pediatric Registered Nurse provides quality patient care to patient group ranging in age from 2 to 15 years old. Functions with a focus on patient safety and customer service. Conducts patient assessment, participates plan of care, implements and evaluates care according to patient specific age and/or development needs. Works in a mix-unit, flexible to be cross trained and take medical surgical patient assignment as well.

Required Experience: • 1 years of pediatric experience required
Graduate of approved nursing program certificate.
- Current California RN license
- Current PALS, BCLS, ACLS, NIHS Stroke Cert. (AHA)

The Admitting Representative interviews the patient or his/her representative to obtain identifying and verifying information, such as patient/s name, address, age, date of birth, social security number, occupation, insurance information and obtaining authorization. Also, have the capabilities of interfacing with the PBX operator and reception areas. Must be able to operate a computer to input and retrieve data. Ability to communicate with the population served, utilizing age specific techniques from neonatal, pediatrics, adolescents, young adults, middle adult to geriatrics. Maintain proficiency in medical terminology. Special projects or other assignments may be given with expectations to be completed in a specified timeframe.

- Previous hospital experience as an admissions representative preferred..
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.
- Required upon 90 days of hire; BCLS (AHA), AB508
Coordinates all administrative and nursing activities, directly and indirectly relating to patient care, to ensure that a standard of excellence is maintained in the quality of care delivered to patients at the Medical Center during the assigned shift. The Administrative Supervisor shall be considered “Administrator in residence” after normal business hours. Responsible for evaluation/execution of bed control.
This position requires providing managerial/administrative supervision to a facility which provides care/service to a normal through critically ill, neonatal through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.

The PSA Registered Nurse is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measure, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients and family members. Qualifications: Current California RN license. Current BCLS and PALS. Proficiency in both written and oral English. At least one year of critical care preferred. BSN preferred.
The Director of the Laboratory is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality patient care in a cost effective manner by organizing, planning, and directing Laboratory Services
Under the general supervision of the case management Director acts as a patient advocate/case manager to hospital clients. An autonomous role that coordinates, negotiates, procures services and resources for, and manages the care of complex patients to facilitate achievement of quality and cost efficient patient outcomes. Looks for opportunities to reduce cost while ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained. Applies review criteria to determine medical necessity for admission and continued stay. Provides clinically based case management, discharge planning, and care coordination to facilitate the delivery of cost-effective quality healthcare and assists in the identification of appropriate utilization of resources across the continuum of care. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff internal and external to the organization. Participates in quality improvement and evaluation processes related to the management of patient care.

Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing care for patients the medical surgical services based on established clinical nursing practice standards. Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Serves as the Resource nurse role when oriented and as directed. Supports the organization vision and mission. Utilizes knowledge of patient's age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity into the provision of patient care. Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing certificate. Licensure in the state of California as a Registered Nurse (RN). Proficient in oral and written communication skills. Ability to practice leadership, interpersonal skills, communication skills, teamwork, quality improvement and professionalism.
Current California RN license
BCLS, ACLS (AHA), Basic Dysrhythmia certificate upon hire.
Proficiency in both written and oral English
The DOU RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environments, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Under general supervision and medical direction, provides any or all of the designated respiratory care therapies designed to care for patients with deficiencies and abnormalities, which affect the pulmonary system and associates aspects of cardiopulmonary function.
This position requires providing care and/or service to a critically ill through rehabilitating newborn through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.
