- Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Staff Nurse II – Minimum of six months Registered Nurse experience.
- Acute Surgical experience preferred.
- Recent experience with PCA & PCEA preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
- Current California licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current Basic Life Support certification required.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current NIHSS Certification
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES & KNOWLEDGE:
- Knowledgeable of the California Nursing Practice Act.
- Able to understand and follow all policies, procedures, guidelines, rules and regulations of Nursing Service, AHMC Seton Medical Center, CMS/TJC, and Title XXII.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing certificate. Licensure in the state of California as a Registered Nurse (RN). Proficient in oral and written communication skills. Ability to practice leadership, interpersonal skills, communication skills, teamwork, quality improvement and professionalism.
Current California RN license
BCLS, ACLS (AHA) Basic Dysrhythmia Cert., NIHS Stroke Cert.
Proficiency in both written and oral English
