Checks IV solution products before dispensing and evaluates all materials used in the preparation of IV’s, 98% of the time.
The NICU manager is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, The Joint Commission and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies. The NICU nurse manager shall directly supervise personnel and assure the quality of clinical nursing care of patients in the NICU at all times. The facility shall maintain written documentation of the qualification and responsibilities of the CCS certified community NICU nurse manager.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

- Certificate of completion from NICU training program
- 3 years of clinical nursing experience with a minimum of 1 year in a regional or community NICU.
- NICU CCRN preferred

The purpose of this job description is to define the responsibilities of the LIS Assistant. The systems assistant assists in the operation of the hospital laboratory by overseeing the operation of the Laboratory Information System (LIS), monitoring, through the LIS, the performance of the Hospital Information System, and assisting in the operation and monitoring of the Ordering Entry System.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- High school diploma or its equivalent experience (An AA or Bachelor's degree is preferred.)
- BCLS Card (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain..
- At least 5 years of experience working with a clinical laboratory including administrative responsibilities.
- Demonstrate excellent computer skills.
- Be able to communicate well in English with physicians, nurses, patients, and LIS representative contacts.

Run multi-facility reports, compiling data, preparing reports for distribution.

Assisting in the maintenance of the LIS database tables.

The Credentialing Specialist is assigned the primary responsibility of medical staff credentialing activities and all related activities. This includes processing new appointments, and reappointments. Ensure thorough and timely verification of Licensed Independent Practitioner’s (LIPs) and Allied Health Professional Staff (AHP) credentialing and privileges according to the medical staff bylaws, credentials manual and policies and procedures. Plans agendas and prepares for meetings, records and transcribes minutes of all departments and various other committees as assigned. . Assist with the FPPE/OPPE process and CME program. Assist in achieving the department’s goal to maintain compliance with Joint Commission standards, Title 22 regulations and other regulatory agencies as appropriate.
The Laboratory Assistant III primarily performs laboratory specimen processing, specimen send outs and/or Microbiology specimen processing (including AFB processing).
