Under the direction of Nursing Office Personnel (Nursing Director/Manager, Assistant Director of Nursing, nursing support manager or staffing coordinator) responds to and facilitates transport of patients throughout the organization. The definition of transport is described as, but not limited to, movement of patients to and from diagnostic testing/procedures, transfer of patients between floors/unit of care, transportation of remains to the morgue, and transport of goods/medical equipment throughout the organization.    This position requires frequent walking and movement of patients/objects whose weight may be in excess of 25lbs. The position requires employment of sound body mechanics and the ability to safely transfer patients to and from medical equipment. During non-transport  times patient care transporters may be called upon to perform additional duty requirements entailing clerical assistance to patient care floors as assigned. Clerical assistance is defined as charting of reports into appropriate medical records, general upkeep of the physical environment, answering phones, observing patients and assisting with transfer/ambulation of patients in a given patient care unit. Able to work independently in a generalist capacity while adhering to standard lab practices.

Collect blood samples from all age groups including neonates. Responsible for front and back office procedures, computer entry, collect blood samples, do basic lab test processing, set-up Microbiology cultures. POSITION SUMMARY The primary responsibility of the Corporate Director of Materials Management/Supply Chain is the management and supervision of the evaluation, procurement, storage, distribution, and forecasting of all supplies and equipment. The Corporate Director of Materials Management/Supply Chain is responsible for the overall activities of the Corporate Materials Management Department, which includes the coordination of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts and the Materials Management computer system. The incumbent will interact effectively and professionally with facilities directors, executives, and managers and corporate to reach positive outcomes. The incumbent plans, organizes and directs the supply chain processes in accordance with established policies and in compliance with the Joint Commission, state and federal regulatory requirements. The incumbent recommends budget information to the facilities for capital expenditures, operating expenses and revenue. The incumbent uses independent judgment to make decisions related to Materials Management activities dealing with assigned projects. The incumbent assist the Chief Financial Officer with company-wide initiatives.  

The Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician maintain equipment and supplies in a state of sterility to be used in special procedures, the Operating Room, and Labor & Delivery. Maintains medical and surgical asepsis and principles of Standard Precautions at all times.

Schedules, coordinates and monitors the day to day operational functions of Chemistry section. Implements quality standards and provides oversight of section processes to achieve excellent outcome and quality patient care. Performs Laboratory testing on patient and control samples, and/or prepares blood components for transfusion. Maintains a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. This knowledge includes the use of specialized analytical instrumentation, clinical correlation of test results, quality control requirements, and preventative maintenance.  Maintains department readiness for regulatory inspections and compliance requirements.  Maintains department policy and procedure manuals in accordance with hospital policy. Is responsible for department quality control records, instrument maintenance, regulatory agency compliance, and supply process. Participates in the continuous quality improvement process through professional development, continuing education, data collection and evaluation, and quality assurance. Develops and maintains orientation, training and competency tools and ensures compliance. Assists the Laboratory Services Director in evaluating and documenting employee performance. Assists Laboratory Services Director in the recruitment, hiring, termination and retention of employees. Coordinates staff development activities of section including education, competency completion, validation, and orientation. Participates in data collection and analysis as requested by management. Maximizes efficiency in section operations. Exhibits willingness to resolve problems as they arise.

Performs general maintenance and repair services of the hospital’s physical plant; equipment, buildings and properties.  Duties may include one or more of the following areas:  mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, paint or HVAC.  May operate and maintain stationary gas and oil fired boilers and auxiliaries in supplying hot water and steam for other power generating purposes. 

The Nursing Administrative Supervisor will act as an administrative representative on assigned shifts, be responsible for the effective management of patient care on assigned shifts, and contributes toward attainment of departmental and hospital goals and objectives.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), is a member of the health care team who assists in the delivery of total patient care, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).

The Clinical Manager is responsible and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift. Directly supervises and communications with all staff along with the Department Director.  Assists the Department Director in the daily operation of the unit, directing, supervising and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staff.  Ensure the efficient functions of the department.  Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.  

     The Stroke and Stemi Coordinator nurse will lead the Stroke and Stemi Program at AHMC Seton Medical Center. Our Stroke and Stemi Coordinator will collaborate with the Stroke and Stemi Team; the team consists of a physician champion who engages physicians and leads process change, and a stroke coordinator who guides the entire program.  The core team is supported by active participants from leadership and departments throughout the hospital. The Stroke and Stemi Coordinator Nurse will be in close communication with the facility to address Stroke and Stemi Coordinator matters. It is expected for the candidate in this position to be comfortable providing education to staff members and health care workers.

This position is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and Radiology Administration.  Collaborating with department and multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care and department service applying AHMC Core Values to the performance of every job duty.
